My name Ellie and I’m visiting Spain for the first time with my husband. Why make a blog out of it? Our daughter moved to Madrid, Spain in August 2012 for a year to study abroad through her university in California. It’s the first time our daughter moved out of the house and the first time we’ve seen her since she left.

Also, we’re in Spain during Semana Santa, or in English, Holy Week, and the celebration here in Spain is incredibly different and interesting to see, especially for non-Catholics, like us.
